In 1995, Legends of the Hidden Temple won a CableACE award for Best Game Show Special or Series. Later, episodes of the program aired on Nick GAS from 1999–2007, and occasionally on TeenNick. It aired on Nickelodeon from Septemto 1995 in its first-run and through Februin reruns. Legends of the Hidden Temple was produced by Stone Stanley Productions in association with Nickelodeon and was taped at Nickelodeon Studios at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. The teams were the Red Jaguars, the Blue Barracudas, the Green Monkeys, the Orange Iguanas, the Purple Parrots, and the Silver Snakes. It was canceled by the network on JIn each episode, four teams of two players each competed in three rounds to get to the temple and win up to. It is a reboot of the original game show of the same name that aired on Nickelodeon from Septemto September 1, 1995. Olmec, however, has likely suffered his share. The show centered around a temple that was "filled with lost treasures protected by mysterious Mayan temple guards". Kirk Fogg hosted the program and served as the teams' guide, while Dee Bradley Baker announced and voiced a talking Olmec Head who "knows the secrets behind each of the treasures in his temple". Since Legends of the Hidden Temple, Fogg has appeared in over 300 commercials, and in 2006 he produced and directed his first feature film Distortion.
